Watch This Space is a not-for-profit trust, established in 2017, which serves to explore Christchurch’s urban art landscape. Starting as an idea to create a free, online map of the city’s street art, Watch This Space has evolved over its existence, offering guided tours of the city and facilitating opportunities for artists to connect with people and walls. The trust has worked hard to build networks with artists and bridge the gap between makers and fans. The development of the urban art blog on the Watch This Space website further enhances the ability of the trust to support and champion the urban art community, providing opportunities for artists to gain exposure and for a public audience to learn more about these figures and the diverse work they produce
